The CoSeC Community Forum is a bi-annual meeting involving the communities directly involved with the CoSeC programme, including the Collaborative Computational Projects (CCPs), the High-End Computing Consortia (HECs) plus representation from all of the UKRI research councils.
As CCC-ParaSolS members, you are invited to attend day 2 of the upcoming event which is being held at Warwick conferences Centre and has several sessions that may be of interest.

10:00 Welcome and introduction to the day Mark Savill (Cranfield University)
10:15 Energy Efficient Compute (inc. GPU)
Session Lead: Jessica Huntley
This session will include a series of short talks showcasing views from different communities followed by a feedback session and interactive poll. The aim of the session is to motivate the embedding of energy efficient computing best practices across CoSeC communities, highlight existing work across CCPs and gather feedback on barriers and challenges.

This session will include presentations from three CoSeC communities about their experience of FAIR data plus an open discussion and a conclusion that looks at “What
CoSeC can do to help you on your FAIR journey”.
12:30 Lunch and Poster Session
14:00 AI
Session Lead: Jeyan Thiyagalingam
This session will explore how AI is used across the communities with a series of presentations from communities with differing levels of experience of AI. The session will also include an open panel discussion.

15:15 Quantum Computing
Session Lead: Paolo Trevisanutto
This session will provide an introduction to quantum computing with three presentations based around current work and a Q&A session. This session will also provide an introduction to the separate Quantum Algorithms day on Friday.
